Alex Gerbaulet, *1977 is an artist and filmmaker based in Berlin. Since 2014 she works as an author and producer for pong film Berlin. Her film SHIFT (2015) was shown worldwide and received many international awards, her film DEPTH OF FIELD (2017, together with Mareike Bernien) premiered as an installation at the festival “The Aesthetics of Resistance – Peter Weiss 100” at HAU Hebbel am Ufer in Berlin, had it's filmfestival premiere at the International Short Filmfestival Oberhausen 2017 and won the film prize of the Münzenberg Forum Berlin 2017. Her recent film THE SLEEPER (2018) celebrates it's world premiere at the 68. Berlinale – International Fiilmfestival Berlin / 13. Forum Expanded.

Co-Director

Mirko Winkel was born in the former GDR and lives in Berlin. He studied visual art, performance art and choreography. The spectrum of his research and context sensitive work includes performances, videos, lectures, curated dialogue formats and suggestions for improvement. He deals with different topics such as autonomy of children, alternative forms of organization, political traumatization and contemporary death and mourning cultures. His work was shown at HAU Hebbel am Ufer Berlin, HKW House of the World's Cultures, Istanbul Biennale, NGbK Berlin, Goethe Institute, Theater an der Parkaue, etc. He currently works on a psychological-theatrical staging of post-GDR emotions at the Theater Chemnitz.
